- News.
- The wait will soon be over : I produced a batch of 15 Dionisi and 15 Metamorf, in a week they will be available at Schneidersladen, Perfect Circuit and APE Performance Electronics.
- Visit me at Belgian Modular Day III on June 14 in Ghent, APE electronics has Dionisi and Metamorf for sale at the special price of 669 Euro !
- Visit me at Dutch Modular Fest on September 6 in Rotterdam.
- History
Alfa Delta was founded in April 2023, with the intention to develop digital modules for the Eurorack format. The design phase started long before that, in 2017, and in 2019 the Aemit Variphase digital oscillator was completed. After the demise of Aemit I took some break from modular synths, but in 2022, I started thinking about a digital oscillator again. Building upon an initial working prototype, I concluded the hardware design of Dionisi in early 2024 and demoed it at BMD 2024 and DMF 2024. Beta testing and firmware updates lead to a mature product in 2025, which was demoed on SB 2025. More or less simultaneously, I develop Metamorf, which is now also developed into a mature product.

- Desing considerations
- Digital synthesizer modules with analog look and feel. Digital, for precision and accurate tracking, for the modulation matrix and presets, for 4-quadrant modulators at every input and output, for future updates.
- As many HP as needed, as many controls as needed and enough room to manipulate them, no compromise for making smaller modules.
- Pure sound generation, no distortion, no aliasing, no drive, optional limiting.
- No analog "attenuverters", they give you half the range of a normal attenuator and it's almost impossible to set them to zero gain. Digital attenuverters can be used instead.
